Prada Marfa: Display Wall

H

ere we are - yet another easy win! Sadly, I think this may be the last of my easy wins for this project. Most objects from here on out consists of much more complex shapes that I'll need to stretch my thoughts around how to manipulate into perfection. Or at least something close to perfection. As for the display wall itself, I started off with a cube and added a ton of loop cuts. Well, the loop cuts weren't just placed in any ol' place. Based on the reference images, the display wall has 3 shelves. I tried to approximate the length based on the references however, it may be off a bit.

After adding in the loop cuts, it was time for an intrude (?). I still don't know what the reverse of an extrude is called so I'm calling it an intrude. I selected the faces for each shelf and did an intrude deep enough to provide enough space for the shoes that would go into the display wall.

By the way, I got ahead of myself and tried to create some of the interior accessories - I just wanted to see for myself whether I was capable. I think this was a good first attempt although there's much improvement to be made. For now, you're welcome to take a look at my first pass.
